June 9, 2021, 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M.

Bill Flanagan will discuss restoring the regional economy and the Pittsburgh region’s emergence from the COVIID-19 Pandemic.  He will provide an overview of how the region was impacted by the pandemic in terms of economic activity and employment, where things stand relative to competing regions and the nation as a whole as the economy recovers, and the opportunities and challenges as we move forward, including capitalizing on globally-leading sectors that are accelerating, improving physical and digital connectivity for employers and workers, and strengthening underserved communities that have fallen even further behind due to the pandemic.

Objectives:

Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand how the region was impacted in areas that even though divergent, still effect the legal sector.
  • Leverage new investment opportunities and identify challenges for future growth.
  • Identify workforce demographics and trends.
  • Recognize what Pittsburgh is doing to grow talent availability and improve racial equity in the Region.
