In this session, we will review Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana law and specifically how it will affect the workplace. From accommodation to termination, we will learn about the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees, including what is and what is not discriminatory treatment of certified patients.
Speaker: Jean E. Novak, Esq.
Jean E. Novak is a director at Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky and serves as co-chair of the Employer-Employee Relations practice. She also is currently serving as Vice-Chair for the ACBA Medical Marijuana and Hemp Committee. Jean understands the need for practical, business-oriented solutions to labor and employment challenges and has earned the respect of clients and fellow attorneys for her knowledge of labor and employment law.
