Pittsburgh’s commercial real estate market continues to evolve through the COVID-era.  There have been immediate effects caused by remote work and widespread cost-saving initiatives, and there will be a long-term impact as employers re-think office use & design for the workplace.  JLL will be sharing their insights on the current state & future forecast of the downtown market while also addressing how workplace strategy is shifting to account for the increased focus on hybrid work solutions.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving lease adjustments.
  • Respond effectively to changes in square footage requirements.
  • Maximize the lessor/lessee relationship.

SPEAKERS:  Dan Adamski and Reid Mauro

Dan Adamski is a Senior Managing Director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Tenant Representation Group where he oversees client requirements in Western PA and West Virginia.  In this role, he focuses exclusively on Tenant Representation & Advisory Services.  Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle in 2000, Mr. Adamski was President of Commonwealth Realty Investments where he was involved in more than 100 investment-related transactions including commercial leasing, land development and IRC Section 1031 Exchanges.  Prior to beginning his real estate career in 1994, Dan served in the U. S. Marine Corps for eight years.  Mr. Adamski earned a B.S. from the University of Maryland and a M.S. from Troy State University.

Reid Mauro is a Senior Vice President in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Tenant Representation Group and member of JLL’s Law Firm Practice Group, serving as a trusted advisor in Pittsburgh to define client’s real estate requirements and strategically develop and deliver occupancy solutions.  Reid also services corporate clients having national and global portfolios, delivering strategy and transaction management support to clients across the US and international markets.  He has driven successful strategies for Pittsburgh-based and national clients from strategically defining the objectives, evaluating market alternatives, analyzing the financial implications, through negotiating and executing lease & sale documentation.  Reid has 16 years experience in the commercial real estate industry and joined JLL in 2006.    Reid graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.
